Get Involved
There are many opportunities for you here at St. Gregory the Great to grow in your faith and to become more involved! Christ calls us to action in our faith, and our faith in action often feeds our personal spiritual growth in prayer! Please, come join us!
Come Pray with us! Attending the Lord's day and joining us for Mass is the first and most crucial way that you can get involved! See our homepage for Mass times!
Administration Ministries work in the background, doing work that often goes unnoticed. Those Ministries provide the foundation and framework for many of the following Ministries and groups.
Liturgy Ministries assist before, and during Mass. Greeters, ushers, lectors who proclaim the Readings, the wonderful choirs that bring the joyful music to our Masses, alter servers. Catechists teach and explain our faith to the young children during Mass. Extraordinary Ministers assist our priest with distributing Holy Eucharist.
After Mass our Pastoral Care and Outreach Ministry bring Holy Communion to the homebound. There are some in our communities who, whether through illness or old age, find it difficult to come to Mass, but still greatly desire the Eucharist. You can help us to bring them Christ!
Collection Counters assist with counting the collection later in the week and documenting the monies collected.
The Catholic Women's League and the Knights of Columbus, two longtime nationwide Catholic organisations are active in our parish. Assisting with the needs of our Parish and the County community at large.
The St. Vincent de Paul Committee provide emergency support services to those in need of assistance in the County in coordination with other religious and secular community organisations.
If you are a parishioner, please take the time to discern where or how you could contribute to the success of our Parish. Please call our Parish Office at 613-476-6276.
